Terms of Service
These terms govern all solar engineering drawings, technical feasibility assessments, CEIG documentation, and consultancy services provided by Solyug Energy Private Limited.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website (https://solyugenergy.com), requesting a design quote, or commissioning engineering consultancy services from Solyug Energy Private Limited (“Solyug Energy”, “we”, “us”), you (“Client”, “EPC”, “Developer”, “User”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website.
2. Scope of Engineering Services
Solyug Energy provides specialized solar engineering and technical consultancy services, including but not limited to:
- Solar CAD Drafting: 3D SketchUp modeling, module layout optimization, string layout drawings, and cable routing schematics.
- Electrical Engineering: Single line diagrams (SLD), DC/AC cable loss calculations, protection coordination, and transformer/inverter sizing.
- Simulation & Feasibility: PVsyst bankable energy yield reports, 3D shadow analysis, and Detailed Project Reports (DPR).
- Statutory Approvals: CEIG (Chief Electrical Inspector to Government) drawing packages and structural STAAD Pro wind analysis reports.
3. Client Data & Site Responsibilities
The accuracy of our engineering deliverables relies heavily on the technical inputs provided by the client:
The client is responsible for supplying verified site survey dimensions, drone orthomosaics, rooftop structural load allowances, soil test reports (SBC), and component datasheets. Solyug Energy shall not be liable for delays or site rework resulting from inaccurate or incomplete client-supplied data.
4. Deliverables & Revision Cycles
- Standard Delivery Formats: Deliverables are supplied in standard digital formats (AutoCAD .DWG, PDF drawings, PVsyst .PDF summary, STAAD Pro reports, Excel BOQ).
- Revision Policy: Each scope of work includes up to two (2) complimentary rounds of minor engineering revisions based on client feedback within the initial agreed scope.
- Scope Changes: Fundamental modifications to the project capacity, module model change mid-design, or layout boundary changes after deliverable sign-off will be subject to nominal additional change-order fees.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
Upon full receipt of agreed consultancy fees, the client is granted an irrevocable, non-exclusive license to use the final engineering drawings and documentation exclusively for the specific project site commissioned.
Solyug Energy retains ownership of proprietary calculation methodologies, design automation templates, custom CAD blocks, and engineering software scripts developed internally.
6. Payment Terms & Invoicing
- Milestones: Invoices are raised in accordance with the milestone schedule outlined in the project quotation or formal Purchase Order (PO).
- Taxes: All quoted prices are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST 18%) unless explicitly stated otherwise in the quotation.
- Settlement: Final editable CAD source files and CEIG stamped submittals are released following complete settlement of milestone payments.
7. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
Solar energy generation forecasts (including PVsyst simulations) are theoretical estimates modeled on historical meteorological satellite data (Meteonorm/NASA/NSRDB). Actual energy production varies due to weather anomalies, local shading, component degradation, and maintenance.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Solyug Energy's total aggregate liability arising out of any engineering consultancy contract shall be limited to the total fees actually paid by the client for that specific engagement.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service and any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or related to our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. The courts located in Surat, Gujarat, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any legal proceedings.
